Royal HaskoningDHV sign MoU with Singapore’s National Water Agency

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency and Royal HaskoningDHV to explore its Aquasuite software applications to support the utility’s digital transformation efforts over the next three years.

PUB, a statutory board under the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, manages Singapore’s water supply, water catchment and used water. Driven by growing water demand by a growing population of almost 6 million, rising operational costs, manpower constraints and new challenges like climate change, PUB is leveraging digital solutions and smart technologies to strengthen its operational resilience and productivity.

Under the MoU, Royal HaskoningDHV will work with PUB to explore how Royal HaskoningDHV’s Aquasuite software could support PUB in meeting these objectives. Aquasuite® is a proven smart water technology that monitors, analyses, visualises and controls the performance of water supply, water management and wastewater systems through predictive analytics and machine learning. Royal HaskoningDHV’s domain knowledge, combined with this data science, provides a holistic solution for the whole water chain.

Dr. Pang Chee Meng, Chief Technology and Engineering Officer, PUB said, “As a leading water utility, PUB is continuously looking into innovative solutions that can enhance our operations and deliver better services to customers. We look forward to working with Royal HaskoningDHV and sharing useful feedback and knowledge for both sides.

Sander Zweers, Director of Aquasuite, Royal HaskoningDHV commented, “The advantages of Aquasuite when it comes to implementing smart solutions for water management are clear - operators gain visibility across the whole network, allowing better monitoring and control. We are absolutely delighted that PUB has s entered in a strategic collaboration with us and we are excited to see what can be achieved.”
