Thiruvananthapuram Airport Upgrades Water & Wastewater management with AI

Thiruvananthapuram International Airport has set up an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered wastewater intelligence system to enhance the efficiency and reliability of sewage treatment processes.

Designed to enhance the efficiency and reliability of sewage treatment processes, the system brings together advanced automation and real-time analytics to transform the way wastewater is managed at the airport, said a statement.

The system helps with real-time monitoring of pH, biological oxygen demand, chemical oxygen demand and total suspended solids. It provides intelligent automation ensuring seamless, efficient sewage treatment plant operations and data-driven optimisation across every stage of the wastewater treatment cycle, the statement added.
